Celebrate Three Kings Day at Citrus Park Mall

Macy's Department store will host a Noche de Reyes celebration for the entire family.

Three Kings Day, or as it's also known "Noche de Reyes" is a Christian feast day that celebrates the discovery of Baby Jesus.

The holiday takes place on Jan. 6 ending the 12 days of Christmas. But Westfield Citrus Park mall goers can enjoy the celebration a day earlier on January 5 when Macy's Children's Department will host a "Three Kings Day Celebration."

The event takes place at 2:00p.m. on January 5 in the department store's children's department and will include milk, cookies and games.

Children will be able to take photos with the Three Kings and shoppers will have a chance to win prizes.

Westfield Citrus Park is located at 8021 Citrus Park Drive.

If you've never head of Three Kings Day, here are some facts about the holiday:

- Three Kings Day is also known as "Epiphany"

- The holiday is widely celebrated in the Hispanic community with celebrations including a Rosca de Reyes ("King's Cake") and gifts for children.

- Three Kings Day is celebrated by eating Roscón, a sweet, donut-shaped bread covered in cherries and sugar. A toy is baked inside the cake and whomever gets the toy in their piece of cake is granted good luck for the year.
