Have you ever considered weight loss surgery? If so, two seminars being offered at the BayCare Outpatient Center, located at 12780 Race Track Road, may be of interest to you.

The outpatient center, affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital has recently added a new community room to host physician health seminars, wellness screenings and educational programs to make it more convenient for residents in the Westchase area to make their health a priority.

One of the first offerings will be a workshop titled :Transform Your Life: Weight Loss Surgery" hosted by Dr. Lee Grossbard, who will speak on adjustable gastric band as weight loss surgery option.

The seminars will be offered on:

  • Tuesday, February 28, 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 27, 6 p.m.

The BayCare Outpatient Center offers a wide range of services. Built in 2009, the 52,000-square-foot outpatient center includes lab services, a sleep disorders center, outpatient rehabilitation and physicians specializing in orthopedics, pediatrics, primary care, sleep disorders and urology. It also offers comprehensive imaging services including digital mammography and x-rays, a high-field open MRI, multi-slice CT, upgraded bone density studies, and 4-D ultrasound.

“The opening of this new community room enables area residents to easily attend health seminars and conveniently participate in screenings that will benefit their health or the health of their loved ones,” said Lou Galdieri, Mease Countryside Hospital chief operating officer. “We are excited to offer this resource to our community and encourage everyone to take advantage of the seminars and screenings that are offered.”

The recently added community room will offer a variety of health-related seminars and screenings throughout the year. For a listing of monthly events at BayCare Outpatient Center, visit: www.BayCareEvents.org

Do not have this dangerous surgery! I have been there and you will never feel right again. I have learned the hard way about the right way to lose weight.

If you have a stubborn insulin you hold fat and have a hard time losing weight.

You can eat very little and the weight still does not come off. YOU HAVE STUBBORN INSULIN that holds fat and diets won't work

BUT when researchers used a specialized diabetes diet on people with OR without diabetes they lost the stubborn insulin and the weight. It works!

We still need to feed our family healthy, well-balanced meals while keeping to a set budget. Change is the hardest thing and trying to do everything at once will have most people quitting before they even begin. You can get samples from sites like "Get Official Samples" where you can find all samples
