An announcement made this week may make summer travel easier for Tampa residents.

JetBlue Airways will begin twice-daily flights from Tampa International Airport on June 11 to LaGuardia Airport in New York City and daily flights to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., according to the Tampa Bay Times.

To celebrate the new flights, JetBlue also announced a special promotion through March 12: one-way fares as low as $79 between Tampa and Reagan National and $99 between Tampa and LaGuardia. Those fares are good for travel between June 11 and July 31, not including June 29 to July 9.
