Other facts
Personal: Age 56, Married to Chyrisse Educator and Environmental Scientist/Consultant, and the organizing force behind the East Pasco Ukulele Club. We live in rural Dade City and have two dogs and three cats. I enjoy playing golf, pick up ice hockey and playing guitar. If elected, I would be the first No Party Affiliation candidate elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. My election would herald the beginning of Americans taking back their government from a dysfunctional two party political system, the corporate insiders who control the two parties and their agents for policy in the congress. Professional: As a Nurse Practitioner ARNP-C, I work with oncologists assisting in the management and care of cancer patients. On a daily basis I may see patients in the office and/or round on patients in the hospital. I help people to live with cancer and also assist patients and their families to come to the realization when it is time, to stop treatment and focus on comfort measures. My role has provided me hands on experience as to how our health care system works and does not work for both providers and patients alike. It is this special experience that I believe makes me the ideal advocate for ensuring that health reform works for people and providers better than it does for the insurance companies. I will advocate for open enrollment in Medicare. Citizens of all ages would then have access to comprehensive affordable health care while strengthening Medicare's fiscal status. I also have a plan to strengthen Social Security, restore trust in Wall Street, and revive our economy through innovative ideas such as my Variable Labor Cost Differential Tariff on Imported goods. I also have experience in business and have developed meaningful economic policy, the goal of which is to ensure that our economy works for everyone, not just the few at the top. As your prospective representative in Congress, I humbly ask for your support and your vote. Thank you for your attention, John Russell

I filed a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission today. Here's the story that no station or paper will air in Tampa while Tallahassee CBS affiliate WCTV has led the charge on this important story now with their 3rd update on their original exclusive story.

Russell responds
I ran for Congress because "the majority" has zero representation in Washington in a political system under the complete control of corporate America. If we had representation, would we still be fighting the longest war in American history? Could Wall Street nearly cause a second Great Depression and nary a soul be held to account? Would access to comprehensive health care be an unaffordable luxury more than a right? Would we be forced to choose between Social Security and national defense? Would "the majority" feel quite so helpless as we watched our destiny and that of our children slip from our grasp?
Name politicians are offered millions to run by playing ball with the elite, while those of us who refuse to play, yet offer detailed solutions, are for the most part hidden from public view, in a game choreographed by corporate media where we are the losers. The game is to protect the easily manipulated two-party façade of democracy as well as its players, in a system based almost entirely on money.

My professional background as a nurse practitioner will ensure that you will have the foremost advocate for access to comprehensive affordable health care on your side. I have detailed plans to secure Social Security, as well as our economy, that will improve the quality and availability of employment for all, while strengthening small business.
I stand alone in this race in advocating an end to combat operations in Afghanistan in order to bring our troops home. I will demand repeal of the National Defense Authorization Act's freedom-robbing provisions, the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act. Your voice will be heard in resisting the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
I am endorsed by the Green Party of Florida; Alex Snitker, Libertarian Party leader; and David Cobb, founder of Move to Amend.
I promise to provide the independent voice and representation in Washington that speaks for us.
It is your choice. I ask for your vote.

As I WARNED people previously, "A vote for Snow IS/Now WAS a vote FOR Bilirakis! Mr. Bilirakis refused to stand before the people and face his opponent(s) in this election and the press NEVER raised an eyebrow! He will however have to answer to the Federal Election Commission for his April 5, 2007 check for $339.13 (and more), to attend a Royal Order of Jesters event expended from campaign funds.
Mr. Bilirakis could not face his challenger(s) because he is incapable of doing so "man to man." His limited positions dramatically favor his benefactors at the expense of the rest while his inability to speak for himself is legendary. So he sends a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of mailers and the voters are gullible enough to buy in.
Mr. Snow's effusive compliments on the other hand offers dramatic confirmation of his desire to find that elusive career position at the public trough as an alternative to his job at the drug store. Perhaps the Dem Party has something in store for Snow employment wise? And the Republicans likewise for Elliott? cont'd

Interestingly, when you have a leader of "One of America's Great Newspapers" who literally does not understand the meaning of the "Fourth Estate" when he was called on it... Then you can easily understand why the public could so unwittingly vote both for a young man so unready for the position he naively sought, or an incumbent of such limited competency.
The election may be over, but this story is not... except perhaps for the newspapers who will sweep the story under the proverbial rug when Gus steps down in 3-6 months as the Jester issue matures.
The true peril is that of a hurried and in large part misdirected and uninformed voting public. I will continue to work to correct this limitation in concert with those who understand the choreography that is the current state of the facade that is the American Democracy. Google Sandy Lee Frost for more on this developing story. John Russell
