Prescribed Burn Scheduled For Upper Tampa Bay Park
The county will conduct the burn to reduce weeds and trees.
A prescribed burn will take place at Upper Tampa Bay Park today, Wednesday January 23.
The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department is conducting the burn at the park, located at 8001 Double Branch Road in Tampa.
The burn will last one day. The purpose of the burn is ecological site management, according to a county media release.
