If you're planning on leaving Westchase on Saturday morning it might be a good idea to do it before 8:00a.m.

That's because The Great West Chase race will take place on that day. Starting at 8:00a.m. hundreds of racers will take to the pavement starting at Montague Street through West Park Village and Linebaugh Avenue.

As a result some streets will be closed. According to the World of Westchase the following streets will be closed:

- Montague Street will be closed between Linebaugh Avenue and Brompton Drive in West Park Village.

- Linebaugh Avenue, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputies will intermittently close both lanes to allow runners safe passage.
