Romney's Tampa Rally: What You Need to Know
Gov. Mitt Romney is making a Halloween morning appearance in Tampa.
Are you making the drive to Westshore Boulevard to see Gov. Mitt Romney live?
If so, there are some things you need to know in advance of the Republican presidential nominee’s Oct. 31 arrival.
Tickets Are Required
There’s no charge to hear Romney speak at Landmark Aviation, 2450 N. Westshore Blvd., tomorrow. You will need a ticket though.
Tickets are available on the Romney campaign website. They can also be picked up at the following locations:
South Tampa Victory Office
- 4465 Gandy Blvd.
Brandon Victory Office
- 1602 Oakfield Drive, Suite 207
Temple Terrace Victory Office
- 234 Bullard Parkway
Security Information
Even with a ticket, attendees can anticipate having to clear some pretty tight security to get into Wednesday’s event.
“All attendees will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible,” the Romney campaign says. “No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids or signs will be allowed in the venue.”
Cameras are allowed.
What’s the Schedule?
Rally attendees can start moving through security around 8:45 a.m., according to the campaign. The program is anticipated to start at 10:45 a.m. Exactly when Romney will appear is unclear as the event has a full slate of speakers, including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio and Congressman Connie Mack.

Actually - why don't you check out the Biden rally in Sarasota today? He has an even smaller vetted (hand-picked) audience at the "Municipal Arena". An aside, Biden's gaffes, slips, memory losses are likely a result of his having been on the "pump" too long when he had his coronary bypass operation. Well documented -- known in the medical trade as "pump head". Kinda scary that someone like that could end up as our President. You should check your facts before rendering an opinion in an open forum!

Here is an announcement of Biden's appearance today from the (Sarasota) Patch... "Do you have a ticket to see Vice President Joe Biden in Sarasota? If you don't have a ticket for the event, which were distributed Monday and Tuesday, you're probably not getting in unless you run into someone who has an extra ticket. Only so many people can be let into the Municipal Auditorium..."

We need change desperately! I have at least 3 relatives that have been let go from there jobs because they can't afford to keep all the employees on staff! This is worse then the bush years. We need to Let Obama Go He can go retire in his ti million dollar mansion in Hawaii. So what if some people may not be crazy over Mitt. If he turns out to be a dud we can vote him out like Obama! Putting Romney in office reassures there will be no socialism and a chance of saving the work force.
People need jobs!
