Small Business Issues, 'Change' Draw Crowd to Romney Rally
As Gov. Mitt Romney made his way to Land O' Lakes for Saturday's rally, Tampa Bay area residents turned out to show their support.
A packed stadium greeted Gov. Mitt Romney when he arrived at Land O' Lakes High School tonight, Oct. 27.
But just what drew so many people to the Central Pasco town of Land O' Lakes?
Here's what some attendees had to say about their reasons for battling traffic, security and crowds to see the former Massachusetts governor live:
Donna Posey of Seffner said she came to the rally hoping Romney would discuss foreign policy as well as "just reaffirm what he's already said."
"I'm here to represent my man, Mitt," Juan Fontanez of Land O' Lakes said. "He's going to bring our country back."
"We're both teachers and we want to see change," Lindsey Petruski of Mulberry said of herself and husband, Andrew. The couple brought their one-month-old twins to the rally.
Ian Nesbitt, 16, of Odessa came out to support Romney because Nesbitt hopes he will remove unneccesary barriers for small business owners like his parents.
