Jan Sutton, of Temple Terrace, poses with toys she sells to raise money for Joshua House in Lutz. The stuffed animals are donated to her, and she sells them for $5 each at various markets, including the Fresh Market at The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel (on the first and thrid Saturday of the month) and the Fresh Market at Westchase Town Center (on the second Saturday of the month). The money she makes each month goes directly to Joshua House. She also has a Doll Hospital where she repairs and restores dolls and action figures.

The eight annual Temple Terrace Garden Club's Sunday in the Park event attracted people from all over Tampa Bay, including Westchasers.

The event held in Woodmont Park found was decorated with gingerbread figures, wrapped presents, and tinseled Christmas trees.

There were vendors selling plants, carpets and soaps, as well as civic groups handing out their brochures and swag. A tool sharpener even filed garden tools.

The highlight of the event each year is the arrival of Santa Claus on a Temple Terrace fire truck. He and Mrs. Claus greeted children, who told St. Nick what they wanted for Christmas.
