Tiny Artists, Teen Filmmakers Focus of Library Events
The Upper Tampa Bay Library is playing host to a number of events March 14 geared toward aspiring artists and area families.
Would-be teen filmmakers and preschoolers with a penchant for arts and crafts might want to pay a visit to the Upper Tampa Bay Library this week.
The library, 11211 Countryway Blvd., has a few programs on tap Thursday, March 14 that could be of interest.
Here’s a look at the schedule for Thursday:
- Wee Artists – The program geared toward preschoolers takes place at 1:15 p.m. It gives kids ages 3 to 5 a chance to get hands on with arts and crafts. Enrollment is limited to 20 kids. Families can register at the reference desk.
- WOW Teens: Film Studio – Wannabe filmmakers should report to the library at 5 p.m. to get a hands-on less in using the library’s cameras and equipment to film and direct their own pieces. The program sponsored by the World of Westchase is open for kids in grades six through 12.
Families aren’t being left out of Thursday’s lineup either. Family Time starts at 7 p.m. and includes stories, songs, rhymes and more. Kids can even come dressed in their pajamas.
