Angel Steven Delarosa, 20, of Town ‘N Country was one of six men arrested recently as the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office’s Internet Predator Unit cracked down on child pornography through “Operation Cyber Storm.”

Deputies say Delarosa, who lives at 9060 Hickory Circle, was charged with 57 counts of possession of child pornography as a result of the operation, which sought to tamp down on individuals countywide who were “proliferating illicit graphic material involving very young children,” a sheriff’s office media release states.

Operation Cyber Storm was a two and a half month investigation that resulted in 10 search warrants and six arrests on a total of 337 felony counts of possession of child pornography, the release states.

More arrests and charges are pending further investigation.

A total of 67 computer items and 63 electronic items were seized during the warrant sweep, according to the release.

Delarosa was arrested Feb. 18 and remained in the Hillsborough County Jail March 5 on $427,500 bond, according to jail records. Deputies say he works at a local McDonald’s. Delarosa was also arrested in 2011 on a petty theft charge, jail records indicate.
