UPDATE: USF Tampa Closed on Monday

Other campuses are also closed.

 

University of South Florida Tampa campus students can now enjoy a long weekend thanks to Tropical Storm Isaac.

The university has decided that its Tampa campus will be closed and all classes canceled on Monday, Aug. 27. Other campuses, including St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee are also closed tomorrow.

All USF health clinics will also be open on schedule.

Here’s the breakdown of what’s open and what’s closed, according to the USF website:

  • USF Sarasota-Manatee – Campus is closed Monday, all classes cancelled.
  • USF St. Petersburg – Campus is closed Monday, all classes cancelled. USF College of Marine Science, located on the St. Petersburg campus – closed Monday, all classes cancelled. And Florida Institute of Oceanography in St. Petersburg – closed Monday.
  • USF Lakeland –  Campus is closed Monday, all classes cancelled.
  • USF Tampa – Campus is closed Monday, all classes cancelled; all USF Health medical clinics and all patient clinics will be open.

Yes, I really do hope USF Tampa closes tomorrow due to flooding around surrounding area's. The rain and the wind is going to be really bad. All in All a bad day for classes! Also, why are all the other campuses closed but not Tampa? That doesn't seem right!

Maybe this will give them time to clean the nasty Andros commons restrooms. I was there today and they were filthy !!!
