Vending Machines To Return to Westchase Pool Area
The vending machines were removed in the past because of theft and vandalism concerns.
It's been a long time since Westchase residents using the pool area have been able to grab something to eat or drink from a vending machine. That could soon change, according to a post on Westchasewow.com.
At the February Westchase Community Association Board of Directors meeting, board members approved $11,019 for the purchase of "two all-weather snack and drink vending machines to be located at each swim and tennis center, plus $1,705 to build an enclosure for the machine at the Westchase Swim and Tennis Center," according to the article.
In the past, vending machines were removed over vandalism and theft concerns, the article states.
