Waterchase resident Tammy Denbo recently took her eight mission trip to Haiti with the People for Haiti organization. PFH sponsors several nursing students and a medical school students in Haiti and one day hope to employ them at a permanent clinic. While on the trip Denbo and other volunteers had quite the surprise.

Denbo wrote this about her recent trip:

...On this trip a miracle happened...We unexpectedly met the President of Haiti (Michel Joseph Martelly.) With their help, we may overcome a major hurdle.  Though we do not yet know if building a clinic is in the cards for us, meeting the President and having him personally thank us for our mission teams for providing care to over 13,500 Haitians was priceless.  We are thrilled that our organization is on his radar and I ask for your continued prayers to provide clarity and guidance as to the future of PFH.
