Coldwell Banker Cares Walk for the Homeless ... More than your Local Real Estate Company!

Jason and I live, work and play in Westchase ... but we also believe strongly in giving back to this amazing Tampa Bay community.

I am the representative for Coldwell Banker Cares for the Westchase & New Tampa offices and have donated, since 2005, from every transaction we've completed as a real estate professional.  We've also donated our time and money generously to Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation.

Coldwell Banker Cares Foundation, our intra-company charity, truly gives directly back into the communities that our Coldwell Banker agents service every day.

The mission statements reads: "It is our mission to give back to the communities and neighborhoods in which we live, by providing charitable contributions and volunteer support, thus strengthening and reinforcing our commitment to creating a lasting source of unity, hope and vision in Florida."

Over the years Coldwell Banker has generously funded the Westchase Community Foundation and other reputable and deserving charities in Westchase and throughout Tampa Bay.  Please take a moment to review our Tampa Bay Recipient List attached to this blog!

Since 2011, we've donated over $3.2 Million and sponsored 23 Habitat for Humanity homes Statewide.

Get involved in our current initiative, Tampa Bay Cares Walk at Lowry Park Zoo on November 10, 2012 from 5pm - 8pm.  Join us in the fight against hunger: Help the Homeless.

There is currently a hunger epidemic in the United States that has been magnified by the economic climate. It’s estimated that there are 14 million children that risk going hungry this year in our country. The crisis is evident in the drastic increase of children that rely on free and reduced cost meals in our schools. Many of these kids go hungry at night or even for an entire weekend. Childhood hunger causes devastating effects including stunted educational development.  Homeless people are men, women, and children, families and individuals, young and old, full-time workers and unemployed, with and without addiction and/or mental illness. Homelessness crosses all lines – racial, religious, class, ethnic and culture – and affects everyone.

Walk benefits Metropolitian Ministries, Pinellas Safe Harbor, Homeless Coalition, Trinity Cafe, Clothes to Kids & Pinellas Hope.

We've already raised approximately $11,600 - help us reach our goal of $25,000! Adults and children welcome.

To be involved you can join our team, sponsor me to walk or be a sponsor!  Visit http://tampabaycareswalk.com for more information.  Call Dyan Pithers to get involved on 813.601.2926.
