Owning your own business is one of the classic American dreams. There are many factors that contribute to the success of a new business, and a good startup business plan is definitely one of them. Depending on the type of business you plan to start and your need for startup money from outside sources, you will need different kinds of business plans. All of them are based on your understanding of your target customers and how you will reach them, your competitors and how you will be different and better, the product or service you will sell, and how your business will make money. We will discuss all of these elements in the workshop.
Before the workshop begins, you will learn about the sources of free business information available from the St. Petersburg Library.
