OMG, Trader Joe's Is Coming To Tampa
Trader Joe's has officially announced its arrival in Tampa.
Officials from the specialty grocery store chain signed their lease, and are scheduled to go before the city's variance review board today to increase the size of signs near the store, which will be located where Shapes is at 3808 W. Swann Avenue, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The hype around this store is incredible. If you've shopped at a Trader Joe's before, tell us what all of the fuss is about.

School Buses Hit the Road
Just a quick note for your calendars. Hillsborough County school buses are doing a dry run on Monday, Aug. 19 in advance of the first day Aug. 20.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium Update
The typical Thursday night City Council meeting in Clearwater has been moved to 6 p.m. tonight. City leaders will discuss terms of an agreement that could allow the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to develop a $160 million facility on the downtown waterfront if approved by residents in a special election Nov. 5.
