Florida Music Educators Converge on Tampa Convention Center! Bay Crest and Lowry Students Perform…

Music Educators and student musicians from the entire state will meet today through Saturday at the Tampa Convention Center to perform and learn from leaders in the field of music education.

Our local Hillsborough County Elementary Music Educators Council is very active in this event. Teachers volunteer their time to set the stages for national and internationally renowned presenters and conductors during the four days of the conference.

In addition, many local elementary, middle and high school teachers have the honor of their students being selected for All State Ensembles in chorus, band and orchestra.  Students from Bay Crest and Lowry elementary schools will perform in Friday's All State Elementary Chorus.
