Volunteer at the GREAT AMERICAN TEACH IN at Mary Bryant Elementary

GREAT AMERICAN TEACH IN
Mary E. Bryant Elementary
Thursday, November 21, 2013

We are looking for volunteers to teach one class or teach all day in this community-wide effort to give you a taste of teaching and for our students to gain exposure to the many people and job opportunities in our community. Research shows that students are more likely to go into careers that they have been exposed to during the elementary, middle, and high school years.

You don't need teaching experience, just enthusiasm and a desire to share with students something about your career, your experiences, your hobbies, or yourself. We want you to carry some key messages into our classrooms, including the importance of staying in school and the value of each individual student.

THE GREAT AMERICAN TEACH-IN is a perfect opportunity for parents, business leaders, and community members to let our students know we care about them. The idea is simple - join us on Thursday, November 21, 2013, and teach a class or two, whatever your schedule permits.

We'll do our part in giving you some suggestions and preparing you for this teaching experience.

Simply complete the Speaker Registration Form at http://www.bryantpta.com/events/great-american-teach-in/ or email programs@bryantpta.com to register for THE GREAT AMERICAN TEACH-IN.

You won't regret your decision to be a volunteer teacher during The Great American Teach-In!

Thank you for your continued support of Mary Bryant Elementary.
