"The Unstoppable Leader" is a biography of Mr. W. N. Porter a great Educator, Civil Rights and Humanitarian activist in the Harnett County community of North Carolina.

This book covers the formative, educational, civil rights, political and humanitarian deeds of Mr. W. N. Porter. The book consist of six (6) great chapters that highlights his life and contributions to make the environment better for people that live in Harnett County NC.

Author Bio James M. Howerton is a graduate of Shawtown High in Lillington, NC.. He served in the military during the Vietnam War era. Adjunct Professor James M. Howerton is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a BS Degree in Political Science. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Masters of Public Administration Degree.

Professor Howerton worked for thirty-one years in Municipal Administration with the City of Greensboro, NC. He has done extensive research on "Voting Behavior Trends in Municipal Bond Elections". His research is credited with providing strategic rationale for the passage of the Greensboro Coliseum Bond Package in the 1990's. He also orginated the concept to build a major regional park in the Southeast Community of Greensboro. The South Buffalo Treatment Plant is now called "Jimmie I. Barber Park"

Currently he is still teaching online Political Science courses for North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro of which he has worked there for over 17 years. He currently lives in San Antonio, Florida and is very active within his community and church. His wife Malta and kids Terence, Daina, and Genesis, with Thomas and Sariah, make up the rest of the family.
