5 Things To Know About Thanksgiving Week
Useful tips for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
- All Hillsborough County Schools will be closed Nov. 21-25.
- Hillsborough County Libraries will close at 6pm on Nov. 23, and remain closed Nov. 24-25.
- Stores will be closed on Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day. Stores will be open until 5pm on Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day.
- The will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The will be open from 8:00am-1:00pm. There will be no Group Exercises classes offered. All classes will resume on Friday, Nov. 25.
- Got grease this holiday season? If you're frying a turkey or any other meat you probably will. Don't dump it down the drain. Take it to one of the county's Chemicals and Electronics Collection centers, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 3 at the Northwest center, 9805 N. Sheldon Road.
