Celebrating Rosh Hashanah 2012 in Tampa Bay
Make this holiday special by participating in the services listed!
This Sunday, Sept. 16 as the sun sets the Jewish community will ring in year 5773 as part the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, or the Jewish New Year. The festivities will continue through Tuesday night.
Locally, there will be festivities at the following places:
- Young Family Rosh Hashanah Service at Rodeph Sholom: Meet in the chapel for a puppet show with Miss Judy, singing with Hazzan Schram, a story with Rabbi Sack, challah and apples dipped in honey and more. 5:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. 2713 Bayshore Boulevard Tampa, FL 33629. - Chabad of Clearwater Rosh Hashanah Service at Holiday Inn: Everyone regardless of affiliation is cordially invitedto participate in the Chabad's services. 7:00 p.m. 2580 Gulf to Bay Blvd - Corner US 19
