The Philippine Cultural Foundation will host its annual PhilFest 2013 Friday, April 5 from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex and Bayanihan Arts & Events Center, 14301 Nine Eagles Dr., Tampa. The festival features a glimpse of Philippine culture through dance, song, food, cultural exhibits, fashion shows and colorful parades and processions.
Weekends at The Twisted Olive

The Twisted Olive, 9882 W. Linebaugh Ave., Tampa, will feature drink specials and live music Friday, March 1, Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, starting at 4 p.m.
Special Olympics Equestrian Events
The Special Olympics Equestrian Events will take place Friday, April 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bakas Equestrian Center, 11510 Whisper Lake Trail, Tampa. Participants will compete in Equitation, Trails, Showmanship, Dressage, Drill Team, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. The top riders will advance to the State Special Olympics in May.
Twelve Oaks Community Picnic
The Twelve Oaks Community Picnic will be held Saturday, April 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morgan Woods Recreation, 7510 Soccer Ave. in Tampa. The family event will include games, food and entertainment. It's an opportunity to meet neighbors and local emergency first responders, and learn about programs and services offered by Hillsborough County’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department.
Green After Dark
The Odessa Organic Farmer's Market, 8701 Gunn Highway, Odessa, will host Green After Dark, featuring vendors, food and music, Saturday, April 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Wine Tasting at The Village Market
The Village Market, 10110 Montague St., Tampa, will host a wine tasting Friday, March 1 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Live Music at The Slug
hosts local and national bands every Friday starting at 8 p.m.
Music at Courtside Grille
Courtside Grille, 13901 Nine Eagles Dr., Tampa, offers live music with Herding Cats and Don & Fred each Friday starting at 5 p.m.
