Juggling your responsibilities, and entertaining the kids is no easy task. Westchase Patch is coming to the rescue, with the top  family-friendly activities in the area.

  • Where/When: Ric Rac Rabbit, Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Young ladies ages 8 to 14 will learn to make a variety of handmade items using crochet, beading, knitting and paper techniques.
  • Pricing: $20

CAFE KILN KIDS NIGHT OUT

  • Where/When: Cafe Kiln, 3150 Tampa Rd., Oldsmar. Friday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Take a break from your mommy and daddy duties this Friday, while your kids take part in creative pottery projects and more. Cafe Kiln provides a fun and safe environment for your child, while you spend the evening shopping, dining or just relaxing. Registration is required.
  • Pricing: $25 per child.

  • Where/When: Pump It Up, Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Why Go: Children ages 2 to 10, will enjoy 90 minutes of jumping fun on the inflatable bounce houses, slides, climbing structures and more!
  • Pricing: $8 per child, free for adults

  • Where/When: Tampa Bay Downs, 11225 Race Track Rd. Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Why Go: Join the Friends of Joshua House at Tampa Bay Downs this Sunday for an afternoon of free family fun! All ages are welcomes to unlimited games with great prizes, face painting, food, pony rides and moch more. All proceeds will benefit the Joshua House and its efforts to care for neglected children.
  • Pricing: Free!

DISNEY LIVE! PRESENTS: MICKEY'S MAGIC SHOW 

  •  Where/When: St. Pete Times Forum,  401 Channelside Dr. Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Why Go: Everyone's favorite cartoon mouse and his friends will bring the magic of Disney to life on the St. Pete Times Forum stage this weekend. The show features a cast of talented magicians along with many popular Disney characters. Enjoy appearances by Cinderella, Goofy, the dancing brooms of Disney's "Fantasia,"the Mad Hatter and many more.
  • Pricing: $15 to $50. Tickets are available at the box office and online, while supplies last.

HANSEL AND GRETEL

  •  Where/When:  Carrollwood Cultural center, 4537 Lowell Rd. Sunday at 3 p.m.
  • Why Go:  Tampa Bay's Play'N Around Theatre Company will reprise the age old tale of Hansel and Gretel, live on the Carrollwood Cultural Center stage this weekend. The interactive show features original music with sing-a-long songs as well as dancing and more.
  • Pricing: $7 for members, $10 for non-members and free for children under the age of 4.
