Meet Stella: Westchase Pet of the Week
This week we met up with Francesca Puglisi and Tim Edwards of West Park Village and their Terrier Mix, Stella. Here is what we learned:
Patch: When and where was your pet born?
Francesca Puglisi: She was found wandering in a field in rural Pasco County when she was a puppy.
Patch: How about a Nemesis?
Puglisi: Stella hates Gopher Tortoises!
Patch: Favorite song or TV show?
Puglisi: She enjoys listening to old rock and watching Rays baseball, except when Daddy starts yelling at the TV...it makes her nervous!

Patch: What did she get for Christmas?
Puglisi: Toys, treats, and Christmas dinner scraps.
Patch: If your dog was an ice cream flavor what would it be?
Puglisi: Ben and Jerry’s Maple Blondie.

Patch: Favorite place to take a nap?
Puglisi: Under the bed or in her chair
Patch: Favorite place to walk or play?
Puglisi: Stella loves walking in the woods, especially in Lake Park, one of her Daddy's favorite places.
Patch: What is her favorite snack or treat?
Puglisi: Rawhides
Patch: When is her favorite play time?
Puglisi: She loves to play all the time!
Patch: What tricks can she do?
Puglisi: Stella can sit, stay, lie down, beg, shake, wave, five, high five, twirl in circles, roll over, play dead, and she will choose which closed fist contains a treat by tapping it with her paw.
Patch: Does your pet beg for table-scraps? If so, does she have a favorite?
Puglisi: She’s not much of a beggar, but she really enjoys fruit, especially apples.
Patch: Does she get along with cats?
Puglisi: Cats are second only to tortoises when it comes to nemeses.
Patch: Has she taken a particular liking to any frequent visitors? aka - mailman, trash collector, fedex guy, etc
Puglisi: Stella greets all visitors with a wagging tail and a sloppy kiss.
