When it comes to finding , normally Westchase residents can rely on the stand at on Linebaugh Avenue. But this year, Smart phone users will have a similar advantage when it comes to finding Girl Scouts Cookie booths. Android and iPhone users can download an application that uses GPS to locate the nearest cookie booths and a list of dates and times when those booths will be open. In addition to locating the booths, customers can learn about their favorite cookies, including nutritional values and ingredients, according to an announcement released by the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida last week. Cookie lovers can take a fun, interactive quiz to learn their “cookie personalities” as well. The pilot app program is running in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter counties. Cookie booth sales begin Feb. 25. The app can be downloaded free by simply calling **GSCookies  or (**472665437) from a mobile phone, or by searching for “Cookie Locator” in the iPhone App Store or Android Market Place. You can also share booth locations via Facebook and Twitter with the new application.  Cookie lovers can also visit www.gswcf.org and search for a Girl Scout Cookie Booth by zip code using the cookie booth locater system.
