Reader's Spotlight: Grace Lutheran Hosts Sustainable Living Events

Thanks to reader Mary Ann Hamilton of posting this event listing for Grace Lutheran Church's upcoming Green Living Expo Feb. 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will feature locally grown food, local artisans and crafts, live entertainment and learning opportunities for the entire family. There also will be presentations, including a cooking demonstration by Chef John Carminati, chef on the farm at Urban Oasis Hydroponic Farm, and a rain barrel workshop presented by water conservation expert Lois Sorensen.

Vendor space is still available for local businesses, nonprofits, farms, gardens or artists who promote sustainable living.
