Sweetwater Organic Community Farm held its 19th annual Pesto Festo fundraising party last Saturday.

The event at 6942 W. Comache Ave. featured a silent auction, raffle prizes and live music by the Urban Gypsies. 

A $20 entrance ticket entitled folks to fresh organic pesto pasta, organic salad, rolls, fruit juices and dessert.

Organic beers and wines were for sale.

The event was held in occasion of the end of season. The farm will resume offering organically (was the word "organic" mentioned before?) grown produce in September, according to a farm volunteer.
