The Gallery of Westchase, a popular consignment store, has closed it's doors.

We were surprised and saddened to see The Gallery of Westchase had closed its doors earlier this month. The store, which opened more than two years ago in the Publix Shopping Center. Owner Nancy Tutt wanted to provide quality consignment furniture and decor to the community. The store was a popular location for residents of Westchase and beyond. No details on exactly why The Gallery closed, however we did hear that rent in the Publix Shopping Center has increased significantly. Speaking of the Publix Shopping Center, The , located at 10718 Countryway Boulevard is no longer open. The health care center had an eviction sign on the front door the last time we checked.

In West Park Village news...the paint-your-own ceramics shop Made By Me is no longer open. The store opened quietly in Spring of this year, and closed last month.

Further West in the Westchase Town Center area, a new restaurant Greek City Cafe is under renovation and slated to open in about a month. The restaurant, located at 9648 W Linebaugh Ave (former Bollywood Cafe), is known for traditional Greek fare, homemade desserts, burgers and sandwiches.
