Catch Twenty Three Bartender Raises $2,407 for Pediatric Cancer Research

Catch bartender Kristie Johnson donated her tips earned on Thursday night to Cut for a Cure.

The total was $2,407. That's how much Catch Twenty Three bartender Kristie Johnson will be donating to pediatric cancer research. Johnson raised the money in tips on Wednesday, Marh 28 when the restaurant held a Cut for the Cure event. The restaurant featured Karaoke on Wednesday night. Cut for a Cure is a fundraising effort where community members shave their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer. Several Lightning Hockey players will be shaving their heads on March 30 to benefit the cause. Money raised will go to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Vincent Lecavalier Pediatric Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at All Children’s Hospital.
