Brush up on your computer skills or learn new ones for free during these December classes

Here's a list of computer courses being offered for free at libraries near the Westchase area:

Introduction to Microsoft Publisher - Learn the basics of this computer program, which helps you create brochures, web pages and other documents.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 2:30pm and 6:30pm at the Upper Tampa Bay Library, 11211 Countryway Boulevard in Tampa.

Microsoft Publisher Formatting Techniques - Learn how to manipulate picture and text frames, working with lines, borders and colors. Publisher: Introduction is recommended before taking this class.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 2:30pm and 6:30pm at the Upper Tampa Bay Library.

Introduction to eBay - Learn how to browse, search, bid, buy and sell items in eBay. Basic mouse and keyboarding skills are recommended.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 4:00pm at the Austin Davis Library, 17808 Wayne Road in Odessa.

Downloading Digital Media to Your PC - Learn how to download pictures from your digital camera and rip music from your audio CDs to your PC. Also explore legal options for acquiring digital media online.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 1:30pm at Austin Davis Library.

Introduction to Word - Learn to create, save, print, and edit documents. Basic mouse and keyboarding skills are recommended.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 4:00pm at the Austin Davis Library.
