New Business Roundup: Two Restaurants, a Salon and more Medical Options Open in Westchase

Westchase has seen several new businesses open in July. They include:

Hair Cuttery (Westchase Shopping Center, 12109 W. Linebaugh Ave. 813-854-5746.) is open in the Publix Shopping Center. It takes the same place as the former Fantastic Sams. It appears Hair Cuttery has a new, more modern image these days with the orange-and-black logo design. The Westchase location marks the first of about 20 new stores slated for Tampa Bay.

At the other end of the same shopping center there are signs of a new restaurant called the The Surf Shack Coastal Kitchen (12217 W. Linebaugh Ave. Phone not available.) You'll need to "friend" them on Facebook to see their page. It's in the same spot where the used to be located. We don't know much about the restaurant yet, except it appears to have a beach vibe.

While we're talking food ... Kimbo's  Oriental Cafe (9612 W. Linebaugh Ave.; 813-926-2566.) is the latest eatery to open in the Westchase Town Center. Their specialty is General Tso chicken, and they are open for lunch. Stop by for a menu.

In health and medical news, Anista Westchase (10718 Countryway Blvd. 813-855-4000.) opened about two weeks ago. The office provides family medicine, urgent care and medical aesthetics like laser hair removal, Botox and medically supervised weight loss. New moms might enjoy knowing Westchase has its own 3-D and 4-D ultrasound boutique.

The Sneak a Peak Boutique (12950 Race Track Rd., Suite 113. 813-419-2410.) allows families to get an up close encounter with baby. This ultrasound studio also offers maternity wear and gifts.
