New Frozen Yogurt Shop Coming To Westchase

The Pita's Republic logo is still painted on the floor at 9658 Linebaugh Ave. However, the restaurant is no longer open.

Instead on a recent day workers inside were cleaning and removing old equipment. Out front signs advertising the frozen yogurt chain "Urban Swirl" were on the windows.

When asked the workers said the shop should be open (mid-August.) According to the website urbanswirlfrozenyogurt.com, Urban Swirl is a self-serve frozen yogurt bar with "the best topping & flavor selection in the area."

There are currently four locations across the country, including the un-opened Westchase store. All the other locations are in Indiana.

In addition to the traditional frozen yogurt offerings, Urban Swirl boasts frozen yogurt pies and dog-friendly treats.
