New Westchase Boutique Finally a Reality for Sisters

Check out the must-haves for Fall chosen by fashionista sisters and owners of Westchase's Sorella Fretta Collections.

Their styles are as different as can be.

Francesca goes for vibrant colors and a South Beach vibe. Serena prefers a sophisticated look, and items that can easily transition from work to night.

But the sisters have always had the same dream: owning a clothing boutique together. Now their longtime dream has come true.

Sorella Fretta, ("Fretta Sisters" in Italian, and a nod to their family heritage) opened its doors this summer near Westchase at 11965 Sheldon Rd.

To prepare for their grand opening in July, the sisters traveled to showrooms in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta to create their initial collection. They revisit these locales throuhgout the year for runway shows and such, to ensure they stay on top of current trends.  Both sisters worked in retail and fashion prior to opening Sorella Fretta.

"We chose Westchase because it seemed like there was nothing else around here like our store," Francesca said. "Westchase is full of fashionable women... And the fact that my sister and I have two totally different styles makes for a better offering for our shoppers. You can find a little bit of everything."

We caught up with the sisters recently to get their top picks in fall fashion pieces. The best part? Everything featured in this article can be found at Sorella Fretta.

Sorella Fretta's Top Picks for Fall Fashion

Peacock feather earrings: With deep blue, gold and emerald hues, these are sure to pair well with the darker color clothing you'll see this fall. Sorella: Peacock feathers are so popular right now because jewel tones are hot for fall 2011.

Rockstar ring: Talk about a conversation piece! For a look that'll turn heads, pair this chunky ring with a snakeskin print tank and black skinny jeans. Sorella: The "rockstar" look is really in right now; we saw a ton of it at a recent runway show we attended to get ideas for our fall collection.

Chunky Jewel-Toned Bracelets: These big baubles are eyecatching and really make a statement. Sorella: Big bracelets always seem to come back for fall and these look very nice with long sleeve wear. They can spice up an otherwise simple outfit.

Retro Snakeskin Clutch: No animals were harmed in the making of this accessory! Sorella: All of our 'leather' purses are what we call "vegan," and this one is great for fall because of its rich, brown coloring.

Oversized Necklace: Fall colors intertwine in this beautiful beaded piece. A truly ornate acessory, it commands attention on its own and should be paired with a dark tank and jeans, or a simple spaghetti-strap dress and heels. Sorella: When people try on this necklace, others often think it's part of a shirt! It can really make an outfit pop.

Fall 2011 "Little Black Dress": A new take on the classic LBD for Fall 2011. Sorella: The 'lady look' of the 60's is really popular right now. Pieces like this are sexy, but they keep everything "covered up", leaving something to the imagination.

I wore a dress last night that I got there a few months ago and received multiple compliments on it! It is really cute, and I think it cost less than $40. Good luck girls. I will be back soon!
