Patch Picks: Best Spas for Waxing
Westchase Patch chooses the best spas to get those unruly hairs waxed.
When it comes to those genetics that put hair in places we hadn't intended, it's good to know where to go to get waxed. In this week's Patch Picks, we give you our top four spas for waxing in Westchase. Check out the video of our number one pick!
1. Pia Esthetic's Day Spa is notoriously good at all forms of waxing, especially the dreaded bikini and brazilian wax. That is why they got our top spot for Patch Picks. Owner Pia Trujillo does a basic Brazilian wax for $48, with a shape design for $65. She also offers a sexy bikini wax for $37, a completely bare bikini for $54 and a basic bikini line wax for $28. Trujillo has been in Esthetics for 12 years, eight of them spent running her own spa.For your peepers, Trujillo offers eyebrow waxing for $18. Jennifer Marino, Westchase resident in the Trinity community, says she won't get waxed by anyone else.
2. Serenity Spa and Salon: Get all of your waxing needs at a fair price. Eyebrow waxing is $12 and only takes an average of 15 minutes. For the more sensitive areas, a bikini wax costs $35. If you are looking for the full monty, Serenity's brazilian wax costs $65. If your brazilian is only needed for upkeep, a maintenance brazilian wax is only $50.

3. Venus and Mars Day Spa: Looking to spend a little less on your bikini wax? Venus and Mars Day Spa only charges $25 for the basic bikini wax. Brazilian bikini waxing is $40 and a complete bare bikini wax is $50. For $75, get a bikini wax and full leg wax. Eyebrow waxing is $15.
4. Touch Aveda Salon & Spa: This spa is focused on natural spa product ingredients and products that do not test on animals. An eyebrow wax is $20. For bikini waxing, the cost is $35. A word to the wise, brazilian waxes are not offered at this spa.
