Patch Picks: Best Westchase Lunch Spots

To be the best in lunchery, you've got to have a trifecta of qualities: 1.) good food. 2.) fast service. 3.) options.

And that third one is important. Who doesn't have that co-worker who always has special request for guacamole on the side (hold the avocado.) Really? How is that possible? 

The point is, they've got to have a little something for everyone in your office and not break the bank. Here are our top lunch spots:

1. - Hands down some of the best chicken salad this town has to offer. And have you tried their pizza bagel? In addition, Westpark Bagel has a nice variety of bread varieties, beverages and sweet extras like ice cream. Daily specials for about $5 also make this place easy on the pockets, which mean you won't feel to guilty about not brown bagging it.
2. - Yes, they serve lunch now! From 11 am-2pm you can get Zen's tasty rolls and other Asian eats. To be nestled in the heart of Westchase, Zen has big city fresh sushi, including surf clam, octopus and Toro.
3. - Tucked away in the Publix shopping center on Linebaugh Avenue, the key to this eatery is freshness. They have great gyros and salads. It's not normally overly packed either, so that means easy in and out.
4. - This new kid on the (Westchase) block has a lunch special that can't be beat: personal cheese or pepperoni pizza and a side salad for $4.99. Did we mention this restaurant uses all natural organic ingredients. Yummy sandwiches and salads also pepper the menu.
