Seniors Get Valuable Advice During Free Seminar

The session, held at Stetson University, was aimed at helping protect seniors from fraud, financial abuse and financial exploitation.

Dozens of elderly residents came out to a free education seminar aton Tuesday March 22, 2011. There are three free seminars included in the Elder Consumer Law Days this spring.

The sessions' purpose is to help protect seniors from fraud, financial abuse and financial exploitation. The next session will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. The seminar Batten Down Against Disaster Frauds and Scams is free and will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stetson University College of Law (Eleazer Courtroom), 1401 61st St. S. Gulfport, FL 33707. Registration is required and seats are limited.
