3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt Date Announced

The Relay for Life fundraiser is set for March 24.

Westchase families who are ready to spend a day in the park have a date for their calendars.

The third annual Westchase Easter Egg Hunt takes place March 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the West Park Village band shell.

As in years past, the event is a fundraiser that will benefit the Westchase Relay for Life and ultimately the American Cancer Society.

Local high school kids organize the egg hunt, according to the World of Westchase. The hunt itself takes place at 2:30 p.m. and is open to children elementary-aged and younger.

Families are asked to bring their own baskets for the egg hunt and a $10 donation to the cancer society is requested. Last year’s benefit netting nearly $2,000, World of Westchase reported.
