Chanukah on Ice; Cooking Classes: 5 Things For Kids To Do This Week

  1. Chanukah on Ice - In it's 7th year this annual event promises to be lots of fun, featuring the lighting of an ice menorah, and ice skating.   2. Kid's Cooking Camp at Publix Apron's - Help your kids learn cooking skills during this week long camp where they'll learn how to make well-rounded, easy-to-prepare meals. Dec. 26-30. Address: 7835 Gunn Highway in Tampa. Camp starts each day at 10am; Cost is $175. Go to the Apron's site to register.
  3. Airheads Trampoline Arena - Take advantage of the holiday special which is two hours of jumping, two slices of pizza a drink and 10 arcade tokens for $19.95. Address: 5072 West Linebaugh Avenue in Tampa. Offer valid from Dec. 19-Jan. 1.
  4. Chick-fil-A night at Citrus Park Mall - Take a stroll around the mall and end up at the food court where kids eat free on Thursdays, 5-9pm. (kids get a 4-piece nugget meal with the purchase of an entree.)
  5. Discount admission to Florida Aquarium - The aquarium is operating with extended hours starting today, open until 8pm December 26-30. Discounted admission after 4pm.
