5 Things To Know Today in Westchase, Thurs. Aug. 4

What you need to know to make it a great day!

  1. Hillsborough County Mosquito Control is holding a scheduled spray this morning 4am-7am in the Nine Eagles and Keystone area. The sprays are performed by helicopter and use the pesticide Anvil 10+10 ULV to control adult mosquitoes.   2. Let your kids be crime solvers at the today 3pm-4pm. Kids ages 6-12 years old will play a murder mystery game, talk with suspects, gather clues, and find evidence.
  3. Head over to Citrus Park Mall for Family Fun Day at 4pm. Today's event, held in the Macy's Court, will include reading "I'm Gonna Like Me: Letting Off a Little Self-Esteem" by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell, and "Bad Case of Stripes" by David Shannon.   4. Give a Hand with a Haircut: Get your child's haircut at between now and Aug. 15 and one free haircut will go to children in need throughout Tampa Bay. Hair Cuttery is located at 12109 W. Linebaugh Ave. in Westchase.
