Austin Davis Library Gets an Upgrade

New counters, floors and tiles were installed in the library's bathrooms recently.

The Upper Tampa Bay Library isn't the only library in the neighborhood getting renovated.

If you've stopped by the Austin Davis Library recently you may have noticed the bathrooms have been renovated. The library, located at 17808 Wayne Road, received renovations to its bathrooms in April.

The library, built in 1993, had not undergone any renovations since its construction, county officials say. The renovations ensured the bathrooms met ADA standards, and included new counters, floors, wall tiles, partitions, fixtures and sinks.

In all six libraries are undergoing renovations or expansion, including a 12,000 square feet expansion to the Upper Tampa Bay Library.
