Cracker Cowboy Poet Comes To Westchase Library

Hank Mattson will share his tales of Florida's cattle and cowboy past during a performance on Tuesday.

Once Florida was more cattle and horses than tourist and hotels. Hank Mattson keeps that history alive through his poetry.

Mattson, known as the "Cracker Cowboy," will be performing at the tomorrow telling tales about the times of Florida cattlemen.

The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Upper Tampa Bay Library, will begin at 4pm. Adults and children are welcomed as Mattson tells his engaging stories using costumes and props.
