Did You Lose Your Boxer Mix?

A boxer was picked up in the Westchase recently by Hillsborough County Animal Services.

A dog wandering in a Westchase office park off Countryway Boulevard may belong to an owner in the area, according to a Patch reader who submitted this email on Tuesday, May 28.

Here's what the reader had to say:

"Animal Services picked up a dog over by Westchase Professional Center on Countryway Blvd. It was tan and looks part boxer with what looks like an under-bite. There was no collar. They were going to check for a microchip and take the dog to its home but it was scared and becoming a little aggressive.

The owner can contact Animal Services at 813-744-5660. The assigned number is 1524701. This was obviously someone's well cared for pet that got out. The man from Animal Services said they had numerous calls from concerned neighbors about the dog."

If this sounds like your pet or the pet of someone you know, Animal Services is located at 440 N. Falkenburg Road.
