Kids Can Do 'Math at the Mall'

The annual event gives kids a chance to have fun while learning math.

Westfield Citrus Park will turn into a math maze next month when the annual event "Math At The Mall" takes place.

The event, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 11, is a collaboration between Hillsborough County Elementary Mathematics Council and the mall.

This marks the event's 10th year.

On May 11, students in grades K-5 will head to the mall for a mathematical scavengar hunt for a chance to win prizes. Teachers will host math challenge stations throughout the mall, as well.

The first 200 students that register at the event will receive $5 off at Grimaldi's Pizzeria. This is event is free and open to the public.
