Portion of Upper Tampa Bay Trail Closed For Repair
The Bobcat Trail dock will be closed for repairs.
A portion of the Upper Tampa Bay Trail is closing for park improvements, according to a press release issued by the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department.
The specific area that will be closed is the Bobcat Trail at Upper Tampa Bay Regional Park, 8001 Double Branch Road. The boardwalk will be rebuilt during the closure. Construction is expected to take about three weeks.
The boardwalk is 30 years old and requires replacement due to its years of exposure to the elements, according to the press release.
