Toys R Us Now Open At Citrus Park Mall

Tired of driving to Clearwater or St. Petersburg when you need that special toy?

Life just got easier.

A Toys R Us Express store recently opened at Westfield Citrus Park Mall. The store is located in between JC Penney and the food court in the old Williams Sonoma store.

For shoppers like Patsy Hall, a grandmother of two, the new store is welcomed. Hall, a Westchase resident, used to make the trek to Clearwater to shop at Toys R Us.

"I'm very glad it's here," Hall said on a recent day while shopping with her grandson. "Shopping for birthday presents, special occasions or for fun, this is a much better option."

The Toys R Us Express is a smaller version of the big box store. Perusing the aisles, shoppers will find a wide variety of toys from traditional board games to stuffed animals and preschool learning toys and popular electronics that kids clamor for including Nintendo DS and Xbox games.

The toy store is one of 10 new retailers and eateries to open at the mall in recently months.

The children's clothing store Crazy 8 and national chain Grimaldi’s Pizzeria recently opened at the mall, located at 8021 Citrus Park Drive.

"We are so pleased to welcome these stores to our community," said Caitlin Tyler, marketing manager for Westfield Citrus Park in a statement. "The addition of these quality retailers and restaurants will enhance our customers' shopping experience while adding exciting new choices to our offerings."
