Traffic Report, Fri. April 22

Here is a roundup of conditions on some roads frequently traveled by Westchase commuters:

 --A crash on I-275 south in Hillsborough County has the two left lanes blocked and is causing congestion from the I-4 intersection to Dale Mabry Highway. There is general congestion from Fowler Avenue south to I-4.

 -- Police activity at a crash in Pinellas County on I-275 north at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge had traffic backed up until before Mile Marker 9. It has now been cleared but traffic remains slow.

 -- A crash on the I-4 east exit ramp at McIntosh Road in Hillsborough has traffic backed up until U.S. 301 and the off-ramp closed. The crash came at the end of a police chase that started in Pinellas Park.

 -- A crash in Sarasota on US-41 south at Blackburn Point Road and Old Venice Road had the right lane blocked earlier this afternoon.

 --Congestion on I-275 north from before the Howard Franklin Bridge to Bearss Avenue.
