Veterans Expressway Construction Continues
Work will take place on the highway stretch from Waters to Linebaugh.
Over the next year, the Veterans Expressway will undergo millions in construction - $386 million to be exact.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, motorists should be alert for possible closings on such adjoining roadways as Waters Avenue, Anderson Road, Linebaugh Avenue and Henderson Road.

The department recently announced that motorists will experience a closure from Waters Avenue to Linebaugh Avenue from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly between now and June 14. During this time, northbound traffic will be diverted off the highway onto Waters Avenue and directed to the Anderson Road, according to a Florida Department of Transportation press release.
Traffic may re-enter the Expressway northbound at Wilsky via Linebaugh.

In other news about the Veterans Expressway construction:
Through June 14, the northbound on-ramp at Linebaugh will be closed overnight, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists may exit at Gunn Highway.
