Volunteer Here: Heidi's Legacy

This animal rescue group is looking for volunteers to adopt foster dogs and cats. Volunteers must be 18, have room to comfortably accommodate the animal, preferably own their home, be willing to provide the animal with food, water and care and be willing to take the animal to vet appointments. The amount of time required will vary, organizers say. Some dogs may just need quiet time to recover from surgery, while a litter of kittens may need round-the-clock care.
