Flavor notes/description: Hob Nob touts itself as a winery offering "French wines at California prices." This Pinot Noir from the South of France has enticing flavors of cherry and spice with a medium body and nice finish. A sweeter pinot noir, this is an excellent choice for those who typically go for sweeter wines like rieslings.
Food pairing suggestions: "This would pair nicely with our shrimp scampi flatbread," says Catch Twentythree owner, Chef Rob Wickner, "It has shrimp, white wine, garlic and sweet butter on a three-cheese blend. It would also be a nice complement the coconut curry mussels.
